Aug 24, 2007 I know this is going to sound odd me not knowing but I'm out of school,and my neice is in high school she's a freshman.She told me her schedule and I had no idea what English 9 was. Is it just the same thing as english? Serious answers,please. Nine is the Arabic number which comes after 8 and before 10.It is an odd number, and is the highest single-digit number.It is also a square number.In Roman numerals, nine can be written as IX.
